The Indian Girl:Uncommon Story of a Common Indian Girl
THE INDIAN GIRL
You might miss your home
But your house surely misses you
The house she converted into a home
Will never be the same again
As it would dearly miss ‘The Indian Girl’
Who began as well as ended
Her day rescuing others
That Indian Girl who took care of
Everything around family or friends
That Indian Girl that might have
Left her Parents place for good
And embrace her beloved’s family as her own
But would still put in all her efforts
To keep both her families synced and happy
The walls of her house have lost someone very precious
Someone whom they always looked upto
The very walls that heard her smiles and cries
Now badly longs for the company of ‘The Indian Girl’
Who had sacrificed all her dreams
For the well-being of her father’s family
The taps and showers that regularly
Heard her melodious songs
Don’t seem to come to terms with her departure
They still function but now lack the rhythm
The windows have lost their most
Pleasant companion and don’t seem
To be the same after her farewell
They lie unattended and quiet
Her pillow is still wet
As it still holds the most precious tears
That she couldn’t hold back
Yet it rejoices to have served
Such an organized head blossomed by values and wisdom
‘Not only the walls, showers and windows
Even the spoons, cups and plates
Have lost their voice
That once sang in her cherished company
But this ‘Indian Girl’ won’t hold back
She will by all means
Bring them back to life
With just her smile and ecstacy
Wheather it be the terrace or gallery
Whatever she has left behind
Could never forget the love she showered
It was material that once created the house
But it was her constant efforts
Which transformed it into a home
For which the house can never repay her
Yet it did the best it could ever do
To provide her a home and a sweetheart
That would love her and respect her
Way more than the house
‘That now craves for her presence’ ever did..
